The Undergraduate Management Consulting Association will provide you with the opportunity to educate talented and interested students about your firm. Your involvement will cultivate a positive relationship with the school and help your company to remain at the forefront of a student’s consideration set both in career choices and as a company to work with in the future. By helping to promote management consulting and investment banking at the University of Washington, we can continue to attract high quality students to the field. This will increase the caliber of future recruits as well as provide advocates to promote your firm in the future.

Management consulting firms and investment banks need pools of interested and exceptional individuals to sustain the reputation of the respective industries. Many students are unaware of the opportunities and benefits that management consulting or investment banking offers. With your help, the UMCA will act as an on-campus advocate to both educate and attract talented students to the field and help refine the skills necessary to succeed.

The UMCA encourages students to work closely with the business community throughout their college careers. Students are more likely to make their evaluations of a company based upon their hands-on interaction with its representatives rather than what they hear in generalized informational meetings or what they read in company brochures. It is the personal contact that makes the difference. The UMCA seeks to involve professionals in our educational process by inviting you to lead weekly educational meetings. These meetings provide you with the opportunity to interact with, target and educate proactive students.

Your involvement with the UMCA will demonstrate that you encourage students to proactively seek out a higher level of education. Your support will help the UMCA provide innovative programs and opportunities that integrate the professional and educational communities to produce more capable leaders for the future.
